We meet across the region for approximately 1-2 hours. Most Sundays we spend time worshipping Jesus (singing songs and thanking Him for His goodness) and then we give time over to prayer, hearing a message from the Bible, experiencing Spiritual Gifts and more! Afterwards there’ll be plenty of happy and encouraging chatting with the hundreds of people who gather together each week and you’ll be made to feel very welcome!
Praise & Worship
We usually kick off the Sunday morning with praise and worship. We have a fantastic team of singers, musicians, sound engineers and production guys who all get up super early on a Sunday just to make this possible. We usually give about 30 minutes to this. We have some faster songs that help us to thank God for his goodness, and some slower songs to help us worship him and reflect on what he is saying to us.
A message from the Bible
After we’ve sung some songs it’s time to hear the Sunday message. We have some fantastic men and women who spend lots of time praying and listening to what God wants to say to us each week. Sometimes we’ll be hearing a message that is part of a Bible teaching series. The messages help us to understand the Bible more and provide a place where we can hear God speak to us individually. Each week the message is recorded and added to our podcast, so you can always catch up if you miss one!
Children's Groups
Our children’s group is called HotRock. The amazing HotRock leaders spend hours each week writing and compiling resources so that our children and parents can actively engage with Jesus on a Sunday morning. They provide upbeat songs with actions to listen and watch, crafts and activities they can do to help them understand the Sunday message, and even tips on how they can stay connected in their faith at home.
A chance to connect
Developing friendships and getting alongside one another is a key part of what we do at Living Rock Church. We all have things to bring to each other; words of encouragement, advice, wisdom, faith and more! Spending time connecting and re-connecting with one another after the Sunday gathering is a great opportunity to do this. We really value our relationships with one another and always prioritise fellowship and friendship.

If this is your first time attending a church service you will probably hear lots of songs that you are not familiar with. We make sure to put song words on the screen in the room so that people can sing along if they’d like to.

We regularly make space on Sundays to hear God's word to us - you might have heard of the term 'preach' or 'sermon'. We take this seriously and believe that any time someone brings us a Sunday message it should communicate something of what God is saying to us.
