The King's Table

The story of the kindness shown by King David to Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 9) is amazing for many reasons, not least because it is also a picture for us of how God, our Father invites us to leave a place of 'no pasture' and sit at His table, The King’s table, showing us kindness, mercy and faithfulness because of the new covenant we have through the finished work of Jesus.
