We're a church that gathers in Homes

We regularly meet in homes across the region to eat together, encourage one another and share life together.

Regular gatherings of the church outside of Sundays

We use our homes to eat together and grow together

Living Rock Home Groups are made up of followers of Jesus and their friends, sharing life together and reaching out to their communities.

Groups meet across the region, gathering in homes, cafes, parks, and any space where they can grow with one another.  We often eat together, share stories, and pray together.

FAQs

It's totally normal to have questions before coming along to a church service. Some of the most common ones are listed here, but if you have any other questions don't hesitate to get in touch!

What happens in homes?

The Bible describes how the very first church met together 'from house to house'. A group of ordinary people living life together, in each others homes, eating together and supporting one another. We want to do the same!

At Living Rock Church we run organised mid-week gatherings in homes called "Life Groups", but we also encourage people to open up their homes as often as they can.

Life Groups will include food, prayer, Bible studies, socials, worship, pastoral care and more. It's a great environment to get to know new people, to celebrate life's wins together and carry each other when life gets tough.

Isn't it a bit weird to turn up to a stranger's house?

It might feel a bit intimidating at first but we can guarantee that you'll be met with a really warm welcome, great drinks and treats and a community of people who will make you feel right at home.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself, just as you are. Over time you may get involved with bring and share meals, or you might decide you'd like to bring a drink to contribute, but if it's your first time visiting someone's home then don't feel any obligation to bring anything with you. If you own a Bible then you might want to bring it but don't worry, there'll be others who can share theirs too!

Can I come along if I'm not a Christian?

Absolutely. Everyone is welcome.

Will there be anyone else like me?

100%. Living Rock Church is made up of loads of different people from different places, backgrounds, walks of life, jobs, races, interests, food-preferences..!

Can I come along if I don't attend Sunday services?

You can indeed. We find that very often attending something in a home is an easier way to get involved in church before attending a larger Sunday service with hundreds of people.
